    wg111v3 usb stick

    hello there

i am totally pulling my hair out at the moment.

i decided to run mythbuntu as a nice little pvr pc for my new shiny tv

all i want is it to be wireless....

i cant beleive how bad the support is for wireless with linux.

i have been using fedora for a few years now, all wired and i love it.

now all i want is to have my mythbuntu box wireless

    it just seems impossible.

i have followed a few how to's on here on how to get it to work nut no joy

i am sooooo gutted. i hope someone can help.

i have tried a few ******* drivers so far, and they appear to work with ndiswrapper.

but when i type modprobe ndiswrapper and then dmesg, i am told that the driver i have is not 64 bit, and when i try the 64bit version i get a load of error messages.

can anyone tell me if its possible to make it work??

at the moment i have a 500 bucks piece of kit thats totally worthless at the moment.

can anyone help me before i give up and go and install windows on the box?
