USB Flash Drive Opens Multiple File Manager

I am using Xubuntu 8.04 on an old laptop. Whenever I plug my USB flash drive in, two File Manager open instead of one. It also happens with my mp3 player and external hard disk. Not sure how to fix this, does anyone have a solution?

Do these devices have multiple partitions? That might be why it's happening.

Nope, the same devices work fine on my other computer. Which has Ubuntu on it.

I don't know how to fix this. So for now, under the "Removable Drives and Media" in the Settings Manager. I disabled the "Browse removable media when inserted" option.
