    It doesn't work on some phones, how do you receive message, mine doesn't show up.
    It's OK, everything we know will become obsolete at some time.

    Yeah, but it seems there are so few apps for mobile phones out there, wammu, gammu, etc... But it's ok, I got mine working already, I just needed to restart. Thanks.

    the gnome-phone-manager application only allows for 160 character messages, does anyone have an idea on how to bypass this restriction?

    I know what the Wammu application supports concatenated messages - but I like the simplicity in the gnome-phone-manager app
