    Fonts blurry?

    Anyone else find that their fonts are blurry?
    My new eyeglasses come in on Tuesday. (Seriously)

    I had the same problem; turned out my monitor was showing it's age (nearly 7 practically continuously turned on years). Replaced it.

    Laptop...LCD replaced about 6 mos. ago.
    Restored back to Hardy ..now the fonts on the Ubuntu Forum loos like a ransom note.

    Same problem here with nvidia driver, with nv driver fonts are acceptable.

    I changed the default font to ttf-liberation and things look much better. The liberation fonts are in the repositories.
