Post [SOLVED] Open Source Firewall, Antivirus and AntiSpyware

    Hi,
What are the best Open Source Firewalls, Antivirus and AntiSpyware for Windows?
If someone insists on using Windows; surely it would be a step in the right direction to get them to use Open Source software where possible!

I know of ClamWin as being an open source Antivirus program.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

ClamWin is ok, but doesn't give you permanent control on things coming from the internet, for example. I'm not sure about the license, but "Spyware Terminator" is an interesting solution. But I still have no open-source firewall on Windows...

Not sure if Spyware Terminator is Open Source!
I did come across Winpooch but am not yet won over by it.

I find it strange that security software is not well represented by Open Source; seeing as Open Source software in other areas are better than proprietary software.

Edit: I found this firewall; WIPFW 0.2.8.
