How Do I Fix Console Fonts From Command Line?

I have been trying to pull together a wmii driven low memory install, but I seem to be missing a step somewhere. Every time I execute a terminal app, the screen is filled with lots of @ symbols.

How do I configure the terminal font from the command line?

    Code:
    sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
Help yourself | [Hints] Disassemble your laptop
