Playing with tint2...
I run most of my applications maximized, and have configured Openbox such that I can perform all the window actions I need to use with keybindings (so I don't really use the window decorations).
In this setup Tint covers the window decorations of maximized windows, and creates a tab-like appearance (see second screenshot to get an idea). I quite like it.
The Gtk theme I use is my own Bygone. The Openbox theme is a modified Bygone.
nice idea urukrama

I'm using KDE 4.1 RC1. I've got three folders widgets on the left side of the screen (home, desktop, and windows home folder). On the right side, I have rotating pictures of various pictures I've taken over the years, a sticky-note, dictionary, calculator, show desktop, show widgets, comics, moon phase, and logout/lock widgets. KDE 4.1 is the first time I've ever really liked KDE....and I love it. I've been keeping Gnome around just in case, but I really love KDE4.
