Toshiba Satellite Pro 435cds wireless help...

I have an old Toshiba Satellite Pro 435cds, and I'm trying to get it on wifi.. it has a 250MHz Pentium 1 and 48MB ram, with DSL Linux..

I got an Asus WL-107 and it doesn't even light up, not to mention I pretty much had to force it into the slot since this laptop apparently only supports 16-bit PCMCIA cards..

The card slots are working, because an old Xircom LAN modem is detected (although I lost the dongle and can't use that card without it)

Does anyone have this same laptop, or one from the same series?

can anyone please help me select a wireless card for it?

I've also seen a couple of sites that list cards that supposedly work in this specific laptop, but they are all 32-bit and I don't think those vendors know what they are talking about..

I went ahead and got this one based on the mentions of Linux support in the add, but I would still like any advise or tips regarding this laptop..
