    Glass theme

I'm kind of new to ubuntu, so any help would be appreciated.
I would like to get a glass theme for ubuntu, but i have no idea of how to go about it...
Also what is the difference between a theme and like a compiz theme?

You can search this site for themes.
Installing a theme is done by opening System>Preferences>Appearance clicking install and finding the theme package you downloaded.
Good site to search for guides & how-tos.

    Cool Re: Glass theme

If you are running compiz, then get Emerald

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install emerald
there are some cool theme's there, but if you go to gnome-look.org, you will find a bunch of compiz themes for emerald.

Emerald does the window borders for Compiz.

You have to add the extra icons, wallpaper and other custom touches.

Just read as much as you can, get a few emerald themes and try a few. Play around with the settings. Experiment.

If at first you don't succeed - just buy the company and tell them to make the one you want.
