[SOLVED] windows disapearing

ok so when i move my mouse cursor off my current window it makes it completely transparent and the window underneath comes to the foreground im really getting annoyed by this does anyone know how i can disable this

you are using compiz, right?

assuming that is the case, open up ccsm:

to make sure focus stays in the correct window: in the general options, under focus & raise behavior tab, make sure click to focus is checked.

to make out of focus windows stay opaque: disable the opacify plugin under accessibility.

if that doesnt do it, i'm not sure what will
