    slow shutdown

I am suddenly experiencing very slow shutdowns. When I click power-off or restart my computer takes a long time before it actually powers down. The screen freezes and I am unable to click or interact with anything.

Where can I find logs that would show what's happening at shutdown or how can I view the list of processes as they are being shutdown.

    Regards.

Try the ~/.xsession-errors and some files at the /var/log/ (i do not know which exactly, but this is where all the messages-logs are stored...

Thanks. I'll have to do some digging then.
