Question Sychroneyes - Does it work?

I have computers with Windows on some of them and Edubuntu on others. Is it possible to use Wine and run Synchroneyes by Smart Technologies on all of these computers? I know it works on Windows, but I don't want to try it on Wine until I know it's at least safe.

    Check Wine's Compatibility Database.

Uh, it's not on their database. I had already checked.

However, does anyone know if a program running on Wine can screenshot ubuntu? If so, it may be possible to run SynchronEyes using Wine.

I would imagine as long as the window manager has control of it, that it would be able to get a desktop screenshot (or full desktop, whatever it is you are trying to capture). This is just speculation on my part though.

What sort of exit error messages does wine give you when you try to run the program?
