8.04 KDE 4 problems

i've a pc with 512 RAM and a 2.4GHZ processor,the most important i'm facing right now that after a while,the system begins slowing down,leaving me with no option but to restart everytime this happens,i don't run a lot of programs,just pidgin,firefox and amarok,what's the problem here?

KDE 4 still needs a whole bunch of things straightened out, I fear. You may want to try the 4.1 beta 1. Installation instructions are available over at kubuntu.org.

Also, search Launchpad to see if it's a common thing with a simple fix. If not present, report it yourself. :>

it's now fixed,firefox was causing that,i fixed this with the help of a topic here i don't remember where it was,anyway,now KNetworkManager won't start with logon,and i can't find it anywhere,i don't have internet connection now,i'm using my phone now,can anybody help me with that?
