Engage dock.

I have a question.
I was searching the internet for a dock without a composite manager.
And i discovered Engage, so i decided to try it out.
But there is one problem, im on my mothers computer so i can use Linux, therefore i cant either install Engage dock since i have no internet on mine at the moment.
So i wonder, is it possible to use Engage without a composite manager (Beryl, Compiz, etc.)?
I cant run Compiz, my graphics card is white listed and it is about to break down.

As far as I know, Engage depends on Enlightenments libraries, so I doubt it would even be possible to run it with Compiz.

In other words: no, it does not depend on it.

If all else fails you could make a panel with whatever features you want (launchers, window list, etc)

I have been searching for a while about how to actually INSTALL engage. I just came from Dreamlinux and I liked engage, so how do you actually install engage?
