How to transfer amarok playlists from one computer to another?

I copied the m3u files to /home/kevin/.kde/share/apps/amarok/playlists which should be the right directory, but when I can't view them in amarok, and when i right click and do "open with," it puts in faded song titles and when i double click on the songs, it says "Local file does not exist," even when all my music has been transferred to the right folders.

    Thanks for your help.

Not only do they have to be in the same folders, but they have to be in the library as well, I believe. I've had success with this, but only because I'm sharing my library across distros (I've got a soft link set up).
I do not use Ubuntu any more, nor have I ever used Gnome. Therefore, I tend to give advice that is distro- and DE-agnostic, which, while perhaps not the easiest way, will allow you to move freely between machines.
