    Networking between Host XP & guest Ubuntu in Virtual Box

    I have Win XP as host . In virtual box I have Ubuntu.
    How can I access files in Win XP while in Ubuntu in Virtual Box
    Pls advise

    you first need to setup file and printer sharing in windows.. and in ubuntu go to places->Computer and type smb://x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the ip of the windows machine

    Thanks. Please elaborate How I insert this command. When I go to Places > Computer it shows no command prompt.

    type it under LOCATION.. replace computer:/// with the above command

    Meanwhile I have switched to LinuxMint. Please advice file folder sharin between host ( XP) & guest ( Mint in virtualbox).
