    Seamless in reverse

    Hello,

There are loads of postings about seamlessly running XP in a VM on Linux and I do this myself, but how about the other way around: seamlessly running Linux in a VM on XP.

I'd like to set up a machine that can dual boot into an XP or Linux host OS and have the other OS come up as a seamless guest.

This would obviously require the guest to run off a raw partition (rather than a VM hard disc file).

    Has anyone done this?

Although I don't know much about the subject Google seems to know plenty.

This in particular looks like it's just what you need.

Thanks. I did google but obviously didn't do a good enough job

"andLinux" looks worth looking at. I'll stick that on a test box soon.

My ideal would be a dual boot system with Windows and Linux installed. Each would have a seamless VM setup that allows the other to be run as a guest. I can do this with Linux as the host but would like to also be able to do it with Windows as the host. I may be asking too much
