Ubuntu Hardy on a Thinkpad T42. It all worked great for a couple of weeks, then the wireless connectivity got really flaky. At some point during every wireless session my DHCP address disappears - sometimes it takes 5 minutes and sometimes an hour, but it drops sooner or later. I can still see the network but can't acquire a new IP address unless I restart.

I even did a full reinstall of Hardy from the cd, and it helped for a little while, but the problem came back.

I'm using the ipw2100 driver - would I be better off with ndiswrapper?

laptop: IBM Thinkpad T42, Intel Pro Wireless 2100
router: Verizon-branded Westell 327, WEP

Thanks in advance!
