AWN dock is no longer at bottom of screen....

I just installed the AIGLX driver for my X300 card and after doing so my AWN no longer works... well the manager does but the dock doesn't.. What is going on and what should I do. I have already tried reinstalling. I used this guide to install the AIGLX driver: http://notes.theorbis.net/2008/02/up...ver-aiglx.html

It said for me to do the following:

    Code:
    compiz --replace &
    afterwards it no longer works...

open AWN from the terminal and post the output
    Code:
    avant-window-navigator
This should pop-up any errors during the execution...

Nope, it is even worst than I though. I do not have Xserver (I installed it) but I now do not have the /usr/share/xsessions/xgl.desktop and 98xserver-xgl_start-server files because I had to remove them according to that how to... what now.
