    Kernel panic

    I am running 7.10, got this message:
    kernel panic not syncing:VFS:unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(104,1)
    Also Got this; Isolinux disk error 01, ax=0201, drive80
    The machine will not start up. Any suggestions ?

    get a live cd and run fsck on your harddisks...

    fsck is that like a disk scan ?
    I have got a live cd, so do I write "fsck" + something else ?
