Hi all!
I am using kubuntu 8.04 hardy heron and I have creative sound blaster audigy SE(CA0106) with 5.1 surround speakers. Here's what I want:
When playing stereo sound for example mp3s I want the sound to be duplicated from the front to the rear speakers preserving stereo. It might be possible for the center speaker too. As far as I know ~/.asoundrc has to be modified. I have searched through the internet and tried a lot of possible solutions but nothing worked. Sound output is set to alsa in system setting and amarok. I haven't tweaked anyhting else. Please help me.
