[SOLVED] Checkgmail dont show up

i have installed checkgmail with all its dependencies and when i run it from the menu/terminal nothing happens ,the process is running and there are no errors in the terminal.

also in ~/.checkgmail its not creating the files "prefs.xml" & "lang.xml".

i have uninstall/install/reinstall/remove/purge
with no luck.

if its something with perl i have no idea what to check.
