    installing firefox add-ons

Hi guys, I have a magazine disk with some cool extra apps i want to add to firefox but i don't know how to or where to extract them properly. I use the extract to tool in the menu but how do i know what folder to extract to?

I have tried extracting to desktop but the app does not work when i click into firefox. All the add-ons and apps i've used before self extracted and installed automatically in unbuntu.

    Thanks again guys

My learning curve is improving with every post i do

Open up Tools -> Addons from FF and simply drag the .xpi into the Addons window. It will ask for your confirmation to install the addon.
