I wanted my WLAN connection to be working before loggin into Gnome. So I set everything up using guessnet-ifupdown and it's working fine. But now I can't manage the WLAN adapter through the nm-applet anymore. It doesn't even list the checkmark to disable WLAN.

Is there any way to tell it to take command over my wlan0 device? I'd like my box to connect using guessnet on startup and when logging into Gnome, it should hand over control to the nm-applet. Best would be if that works without disconnecting.

Cheers,
