Re: Gloobus, a QuickLook for linux

What is "official status" on development of Gloobus-Preview?

I got it working on Natty Narwhal but i think in Maverick Meerkat i had less trouble viewing video files (crashing).

    PPA packages...

    https://launchpad.net/~gloobus-dev/+archive/gloobus-preview

...are a bit old and only available up to Maverick Meerkat. I was able to get Gloobus-Preview from this PPA to work...

    https://launchpad.net/~am-monkeyd/+archive/nautilus-elementary-ppa

...but as i mentioned it does have a lot of troubles (crashing). It's such a nice "tool" and i was wondering if it still being actively developed?

    Thanks!

OK, today i see new packages for Natty Narwhal on both PPA's.

So i guess it is still being actively developed and that is good news!

Does CoverGloobus even work? I followed the instructions in the first post and this program doesn't do anything. It doesn't fetch lyrics, it doesn't display album artwork. I have toyed with all the preferences, too.

Thanks for this great piece of tool.

I got a quick question, can I skip to the next file when the preview window is open or do I have to close it every time I want to see a different file?

    Thanks !

It will open a new window for each file , just select the next file and press the space bar .
