    Wine and Battlefield 2

Has anyone gotten Bf2 to work? I have installed it using wine, but when I load it, I see the Bf2 logo then a black screen then it exits wine. I have gotten the dll's and changed the screen resolution, as well as reinstalled the game...I have tried using the virtual window for wine but same problem...what else could be the problem? or should i try cedega...

My video card is a Nvidia 8600 GTS.

    Thanks.

I have had serious problems with wine in the past, especially when it comes to games. Maybe that's just me, but i recommend VirtualBox.

appdb.winehq.org is your friend for getting stuff to run in wine. Checkout this link (click).

But there's also a Wine subforum in here, so in the future post wine stuff there.
