[SOLVED] Need to create PDF with minimum size ?

Exported an open office document to PDF.The content was plain text
The PDF file size is 315 KB for just 4 pages.

I have downloaded many other PDF's from internet.All of them with lots of pages but lesser size.

How to create a plain text PDF with the minimal size? What are the reputed softwares for this?

OK for less size use Latex. Its very useful easy and I just love its font.

You can use gedit to export as pdf. It is available in the print options. This would

greatly reduce the size.

I just made one with 9 pages, exportet it and it's 26kb

Using the print PDF option in Gedit, i got the size to be 21 KB(4 pages)
Kewl.

I needed to download Latex,so i didn't give it a try. Seems it is very advanced and more complex,suited for pro work with lots of formatting
