    Keboard wild behaviour

    I installed Kubuntu-64 8.04, on Sony Vaio FZ38M.
I experienced quite often wild behaviours of the keyboard.
For example during writing using emacs the cursor quite
often jumped from to other position.
I have tried to isolate the problems:
    1. Vista don't exhibit this wild behaviour.
    2. These wild behaviour still occurs even when I carefully
use the keyboard without even touching the touchpad.
    3. I tried to set the keyboard sensitivity, but seems no
    improvement.

Any suggestion on how to fix the issue?

So, in other words, your keyboard is influencing your mouse pointer somehow?

You mentioned installing the Operating System; have you run updates on Hardy yet?

From the terminal (Not sure how GUI runs in KDE):

    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade
Angel's Egg: Go watch this, and then the movie. You have never seen anything like it.
A shout-out to the Linux Mint team for their excellent port of Ubuntu.
Use any OS worry-free with Derek's Virtual Box.

    Re: Keboard wild behaviour

I have installed all updates (automatic update is on).

No. The problem is with the keyboard. No issue on Mouse.
While typing, the cursor can suddenly moved to other position.
In many occasion, this happen because user touch the touchpad.
I have tried to prevent this to happen, by never let my hand
    touch the touchpad.

As this not happening in Vista, then it must be specific to
    the Kubuntu.
