System Monitor Upload suddenly not working...!!?

OK did a fresh install...and it's still there !?

I didn't format my /home Drive...so it there a setting there perhaps? thats preventing it from showing Uploads?

It's Ubuntu...

I did a COMPLETE reinstall new /home everything... After installing Updates (using AMD64) you can no longer see the Uploads whatsoever...

Ahh... well live and learn the hard way...

just loaded Fedora 9 Live and also not showing Uploads...

It works inside VirtualBox...

Is there anyway i can take a poke around my system to find whats wrong?

What commands do i do?
