    Installing on flat screen monitor

    Hi,
I am trying to install Ubuntu 7.10 and I have a flat screen LCD monitor and it will not let me install Ubuntu because of the resolution, which I cannot change. The forward button on the bottom of page is not visible and if I hit enter, I get message to cancel or quit. Short of getting rid of my monitor, how do I install from cd? I have tried the "f4" on boot up but apparently that is of no help.
Can someone please help me on this?
    Thank you

    Download the alternate CD: http://www.ubuntu.com/GetUbuntu/download.

Alternate cd is a checkbox on the bottom of that screen.

Install in "text mode" from the alternate CD. That should solve your problem but you still may need to change your xorg.conf file after installation. I had the same problem once on a BenQ monitor.

Or just hold the ALT button and click on a "blank" part of the window, that will let you the window around to see the buttons.
