ln does not work like that. There are 3 main modes you can use ln in :
1. One filepath argument.
This will make a link to /path/to/target/file in the current direcrory.
2. 2 filepath arguments
Now, /path/to/source/file is a link to /path/to/target/file
ln /path/to/target/file /path/to/source/file
3. More than 2 arguments : the last argument must be a directory.
This will make links to the previous argument paths in the target directory.
ln /path/to/file/1 /path/to/file/2 /path/to/file/3 /path/to/file/4 /path/to/target/directory
So there is no way you can use more than 2 arguments and last argument not be a directory. Note that dav* will expand to 4 different paths if there are 4 files that match the regular expression
