Just a suggestion, make the gnome-system-monitor more palatable to the eye.

or remove gnome-system-monitor from the panel

the top panel is way too big, you remind me of the first time i started selling ubuntu PCs.

the cube looks nice.

the writing (note) in the desktop background is ugly.

install screenlets and leave the notes.
