    Connect 2 PC's

Hey, I've got a Desktop running Ubuntu 8.04 and a Laptop running Ubuntu 8.04. They're both connected to my BT home hub for the internet via Ethernet cables. Just wondering how I can connect the two/make a folder for sharing files between then two? So I can easily transfer pictures and videos and stuff without using a memory stick or the such. Thanks.

install openssh-server on both. Then it s just a matter of going to places/connect to server, choose ssh, fill in necessary information.

Cool, thanks man. I think this got it working... I installed both then shared the folders that I wanted to share and it worked... Didn't need to use the connect to server thing in the end I don't think... But thanks for all your help!

[Edit] Turns out I can see the folder that I want to share but when I go to click on it it asks me for a password, I've tried the route on the Desktop, the root on the Laptop and neither work, what password is this? Any help would be great thanks!
