Restart overwrites my xorg.conf??

Hi,

My problem is that my touchpad doesn't work at normal startup. But if I do a reconfigure on my X-server it works, but just for that time. Everytime i restart the computer it seems like the xorg.conf file is beeing overwritten and replaced by some sorts of default settings. Do anyone have a good idea how to solve this problem?

Or perhaps when I look even further on, it might not be the problem. If i check the xorg.conf now they look the same. Could it be that some modules don´t load properly at startup but reconfigure of X fixes for me?
