Question [SOLVED] Broadcom wireless card working, now how do I connect to network??

Ok, well I finally got my Broadcom wireless card working. Or at least I'm pretty sure it's working, the active light is now lit. However, I don't know how to get to connect to wireless networks now. I'd like to set it up where I can get a list of available networks in the area, and have the ability to choose one, much like in windows. So how do I go about getting the network setup? Thanks in advance for all your help!!

you should see a monitor kinda symbol on the top right next to the date.. once you click on that you should find a drop down list with the list of networks.. if you dont see anything go to your terminal and type iwconfig and post output here
