    change the 10 (for 10 lines) to something greater like 20 or 30
    in the script file
    Code:
    cat ~/journal/cal.txt | ~/scripts/wordwrap.sh -w 46 -o 10  | sed 's/12:00am//g' | sed ':a;N;$!ba;s/\n\n/\n/g' > ~/journal/gcalWW.txt

    sorry do this as the above is for word wrap
    in the conky rc file change the 10 to 30
    ${head /pathToTextFile/gcal.txt 10 20}

    Ah, perfect. I figured it was that number, but didn't want to tinker until I was sure.

    Re: Google Calendar into Conky

    Hi Guys,

    I have a question.

    How can I change the agenda option to show a list of all events for a full month and not just five days. I don't want a graphical calendar print out in Conky just a list for the whole month.

    I found the answer
    Code:
    ${color6}Google Calendar Agenda July 1 - Aug 31, 2012${color}${font}
    ${execi 300 gcalcli --nc --cal='xxxxx' agenda '07/01/2012' '08/31/2012'}

    Is there a way to get this to work in two factor authentication turned on?

    No, just if I generally have two factor authentication turned on in my google account. Since I turned it on earlier today, my GCal in Conky won't load.

    It looks like, from what I can see, there isn't a variable for adding the token (like you would user name, password, etc).

    running gcalcli with --https param causes it to crash:

    Code:
    saad@beast:~$ gcalcli --https calm
    Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "/usr/bin/gcalcli", line 1524, in <module>
        BowChickaWowWow()
      File "/usr/bin/gcalcli", line 1426, in BowChickaWowWow
        borderColor=borderColor)
      File "/usr/bin/gcalcli", line 378, in __init__
        cal.gcalcli_username   = urllib.unquote(match.group(1))
    AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'group'
    Runs fine w/o --https though.

    I'm running version 2.3 and that bug is fixed in my version.
    I see on github there is now a version 3.1
