    Multisession disk not mounting.

    Is there any way to mount multisession disk that was burnt in windows.

    Put your CD in the drive and post the output of sudo fdisk -l. Lets find out if we could mount it manually.

    I can't seem to find your cdrom device listed there. What does
    Code:
    cat /etc/fstab
    print?

    Assuming your cdrom device file is /dev/sr0, you may try the below command to mount the device manually (after putting in the media)

    /dev/scd0 is the device file for your cdrom. Did you try the mount command ?

    I am trying that command for more than 3 week's.

    But its displaying there is no such device.

    Ok.i am using vmware to read my multisession disks.

    I must continue the same.

    i can get that its being detected but unable to mount my DVD.

    Then is there any software like My phone xplorer in windows to download my SMS Contacts etc to my computer.
