    fullscreen video lag

i noticed that everytime i watch a video in fullscreen mode, the video lags, however it's perfectly smooth when it's in not maximized.

this wasn't a problem before i installed the ATI proprietary drivers. anyone know a fix for this?

video still laggy... this seems to be a really strange problem, doesn't take much to run a movie, even if it is fullscreen.

ok, i reduced my screen resolution to 1024x768, and there was no more lag in fullscreen videos. my normal resolution is 1280x800. possible that it's a monitor/display problem instead of video driver?
