    Fresh Install Problem

    Trying to install 8.04 on boot, but every time it goes to the splsh screen then to busybox.

    I've tried many boot options from all_generic_ide, irqpoll, pci=nomsi, floppy=off, pnpbios=off and a few others. No combination or having all of them works, same busybox screen.

    Any ideas?

    If you start Ubuntu in Recovery Mode, does it show any errors before it drops to BusyBox?
    Think carefully before executing commands containing "rm", especially "sudo rm -rf ", if you require more information concerning this matter, read this.
    I am an experimenter, give me the most stable OS and I can make it unstable in a few hours.
