Recommended WLAN router and PCI card?
I would like to buy a Wlan router (to attach to a broadband cable modem) and matching PCI cards to attach 4 computers to the Wlan network.
All computer run Ubuntu Gutsy/Hardy.
If possible these should support draft N or G for faster communication and if possible they should use multible antennas for better signal range and quality.
From the point of view of best, most stable, most reliable, most compatible operation with Ubuntu, which products would you recommend?
I would especially like to avoid any surprise because of a manufacturer changing some chipset or hardware detail so that suddenly the card is not working with the standard drivers any more.
And I have had very bad experiences with ndiswrapper, with the whole system getting unstable and slow, so I would like to avoid any solution that requires that.
Is this the right place for asking this or are there other, better places?
