    Wireless Problem

    hie i juss purchased a sitecom
    WL-181 Wireless Network 300N PCI Card but i dont know how to set it up in ubuntu... i really need help on this one... i checked on the supported wireless cards and it not there... i am using ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron lts

    You are going to have to read up on NDISWRAPPER

    Basically, the windows drivers come as .exe files that can
    be unzipped.

    Within those zip files is a specific 'driver' file.

    You'll probably have to invoke ndiswrapper with that file
    as an argument.

    It's complicated, but I've brought maybe 10 different types of wireless cards online in the last 2 years.
