    Unable to run program

Hello, my partitioning program mucked earlier and deleted all my partitions so I can't restart my computer, I looked for a program that would recover my partitions and found Testdisk, I used Synaptic Package Manager to install it and now I have no way to run it. It has not appeared in the System or Applications menus. Press alt + F2 and typing Testdisk doesn't do anything either. Any idea how to run this program?

Open up a terminal and try evoking it from there.

Just type testdisk and see what that does.

Edit: type sudo testdisk then type in your password. I just tried it, it works!
