    Windows paint slow on Geforce 8600GT

    My videocard (nVidia Geforce 7600GT) blew up last week and I got a new one (geforce 8600GT).
    I have installed Ubuntu's nVidia binary drivers (nvidia-glx-new). But the windows paint a lot slower than my Geforce 7600GT / Intel X3000 IGP and the Compiz performance is a lot lower. I even see black windows when opening Firefox and tab switching (in the newest swiftfox) also takes long.
    Are this driver issues or someting?
    Edit: I even got black windows if I open 80+ windows.
