Looking for more info about "Mures"

I wondered if anyone had ever made a clone of Sega's Chu Chu Rocket that would run on Linux. It seemed entirely plausible so naturally I went searching. Luckily, I came across this game called "Mures" but unfortunately its sourceforge page (linked in the Wikipedia article I just gave) is no more and Wikipedia itself gives very little detail. So I'm asking, what happened? The most likely answer is that Sega sent them a Cease and Desist notice but I'd like to know for sure.I'd also like to know anything else you can tell me about the project.
