Open Arena has forsaken me after 2 years(it feels like more) of enjoyment! For a couple of weeks now open arena's client keeps freezing on me. The entire screen becomes frozen, I can't ctrl-alt-backspace or switch to a console or anything when this happens. These freezes happen often and randomly when I play the game and last anywhere from a few seconds to 3 minutes. Argh! Others don't have a problem with the client, my hardware is fine, my connection (which has nothing to do with it since it happens in single player too) is fine, and yet it won't let me play. I ran it in a failsafe terminal and I've played every 3d game I have without problem :/ I can even play Urban Terror without problem and it uses the same engine! What gives? Please help, I've posted this at openarena's forum but no one has really given me any answers. I use a Nvidia GeForce4 FX5200 video card just in case you want to know, but again I can play other 3D games. Some one please help me
