I'm trying to modify PHP's source package. Their control file has a number of different packages defined.\

Dependencies, descriptions, recommendations, replacements, etc.. can be defined, but since there isn't anything saying which files end up in which resulting binary package, I don't understand what determines which packages get what binary files.


Can someone explain this to me? I must be completely missing where all of this is documented-- I've already read a bunch of documents on packaging and whatever else I could find, but nothing appears to explain this.
