    Check to see if a shared folder is reachable

    After sharing a folder in my new Ubuntu server, how can I check to ensure that it is reachable from another computer?

    My other computer is WindowsXP and it is on a domain. The Ubuntu server is in a workgroup.

    in a windows machine typ \\(ip of ubuntu server) in windows explorer
