Does Azureus Have A Problem Handling Large Files Ubuntu Server 8.04
After a few days of testing and searching, with many strings but who says any are right, Ive found I cannot successfully complete a torrent of around 2.3GB or larger.
I get to 99.9% over and over again.
I can successfully download anything under a gig, havent really tried between 1 and 2 gig but have tried many over 2GB. The amount of rubbish Ive downloaded and deleted to test is quite untrue.
Ive noticed a lot of people having '99.9% completed' problems and if we change that search to 'large' then the only thing we really get is 'bit torrent is a great way of sharing large files'.
Ive left it on for hours at a time, first time all night, the amount of rechecks must be massive. 20MB connection means it takes about a minute to complete the .01% and then 5 mins for the check ... 10 times an hour for 10 hrs the first time is 100 times for that torrent alone. Ive been at it for several days ...
Ive checked the wiki's, searched the net, deleted, stopped, restarted, tried various files over 2GB, replaced the .jar and its prolly staring me straight in the face but I dunno ...
I have 4 files sitting at 99.9% and the only thing they have in common is they are Matroska .mkv
They do play but having them 100% in the seeding column until I finish my share sounds better to me than having to stop them and look like a leech because of this.
Or is it Ubuntu itself?
Someday something constructive will go here.
