    Yes, I did that before. When I try ifconfig ath0 down and ifconfig wifi0 down I get "ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device" Should I continue anyways?

    I also get:

    ryan@ryan-ubuntu:~/Desktop/madwifi-0.9.4/scripts$ ./madwifi-unload.bash
    FATAL: Module wlan is in use.
    Edit: If you need me to I will reformat (for the zillionth time) and we can start from a blank slate.
