First, does wireless work on Wubi? If it does, can I get an overview or a link into checking if Ubuntu is compatible with my wireless card and setting it up. Id apreciate it.

I am happy to say that installing the wireless cards is much easier in Hardy than ever before. Especially for the Broadcom chipset the package was included on the cd. On my desktop the Belkan was recognised as soon as it was installed.
NO HASSLE- thats what Hardy gave to me

My computer is a Compaq Presario. I would like to know how to go about getting any software needed to get my wireless card up and running. Can I search for specific software?
- load ubuntu
- insert install disk
- navigate to System->Administration->Hardware Drivers
- Check for Broadcom *** wireless drivers and click enabled
- red light turns green
- restart computer and try to connect
Compaq is not that different from HP since HP owns the company. They use a lot of the same hardware. At my job I sell both HP and Compaq
